Press Release#2

Snack Learning To Support Creative Microbusinesses

By Camila Rodrigues

The Skillful AID consortium is pleased to announce that a new set of educational resources is now available on our project website. Developed under Erasmus+ KA210-ADU, these learning materials are designed to strengthen the digital readiness, resilience and sustainability of creative microbusinesses in Portugal and Romania, particularly those operating in rural or vulnerable contexts.

These resources are part of our Engaging Snack Learning Content, a collection of bite-sized modules intended to provide practical knowledge that adult educators, aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners can apply immediately.

Six Key Training Areas Now Online

The newly published modules cover six essential dimensions for entrepreneurs working in the creative and craft sectors:

  1. Adaptive Mindsets & Crisis Management
  2. Collaboration & Mutual Support to Increase Resilience
  3. Developing a Sustainable Mindset for Creative Microbusinesses
  4. Foundations of Online Promotion for Rural Creative Entrepreneurs
  5. Practical Tools and Routines for Sustainable Digital Visibility
  6. Strategies for Sustainable Creative Microbusinesses

Each learning unit was designed to be concise, accessible and immediately applicable, supporting adult learners with limited time or digital experience.

Supporting Inclusion and Digital Transformation in Adult Education

The Skillful AID project aims to expand access to high-quality training for vulnerable creative entrepreneurs, including women, older adults and people living in rural areas. By providing free, easy-to-use digital resources, the consortium contributes to the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusiveness, digital transformation and community-based learning.

These materials also serve as preparatory tools for the upcoming Sustainable Creative Microbusiness workshops and the international Train the Trainers programme, which will engage adult educators from Portugal and Romania.
